ELPA Testing at SIA

 It's that time of year again, the time for ELPA testing.  Here's how it is going to work this year.

First, know that ELPA testing is March 22-24 during your ELA class only.

Those of you who have scored Advanced Proficient twice already will be given alternate assignments and sent to the library to complete them.

Those of you who have scored Advanced Proficient once already will only have to score at this level once more to be exempt from future ELPA testing. This could be a very important year for you!

Those of you who are taking the ELPA test at other levels, know that you will only have to score Advanced Proficient twice to graduate from taking it. What better year to show off your English skills than this year? If you score it twice in a row, that means ALL of high school without it!

Please come prepared to class tomorrow with a number 2 pencil and your brains. This is going to be fun! There's even a section where I get to use the CD player (oooooh :) )
